he "Burgundian Bastards" are a non-profit living history/historical reenactment. We locate ourselfs in the middle ages in 1461. The "Burgundian Bastards", are the eighteen illegitimate children of Philip the Good, including, Anthony of Burgundy, he was one of his favorite bastard sons. Everything is set around the life of this "bastard", his buddy's and there companions(for more meer historical info click Bastards-page). What is reenactment? Historical reenactment is strictly the epilogues or portraying historical events, usually where it originally took place, by participants in historical costume. The authenticity of decoration of the participants (costumes and utensils) is not always strictly as living history, because the demonstrations often except educational often also recreational intended. What is living history? Living history is the portraying historical events and/or periods through demonstrations of daily life in reconstructed historical costumes using also reconstructed historical utensils, at a particular place (historical or not) for educational purposes. Living history is often mentioned in the same breath with some differences: renactment, demonstrations of living history portrayals the historical society (often with emphasis on homesourcing), while in the depictions of historical reenactment demonstrations often battles are central.
